Shrug. The military gets its needs met. If there is a draft, people who know what they want to do will volunteer. Others who think they do (I wanted aviation but discovered at my physical that I am just enough color blind, not fully but enough, to prevent that.) may find something else that surprises them as tanks did me ;) The rest will find VISTA or CCC type jobs for two years and learn that being out from mom and dad’s is a good thing.
