have you seen what the cia has done historically? the CIA topples democratically elected officials, assisinations, gun running, drug running, is it really that preposterous to imagine that maybe the cia cant be trusted

Yes. We know the CIA is untrustworthy, and that’s even WITH government oversight.

This is a proposal to create an entirely separate apparatus that answers to nobody but Trump. And Trump is not exactly famous for being very ethical himself. So take all the problems with the CIA that we already have, and make them worse, and THAT is what they’re proposing.
