My idea for compromise would be in after school activities. Then, if they want to form Christian, Muslim, Judaic, or atheist groups they should be free to form groups and activities.

Then it should be done at their house of worship.

Again, I have problems with these issues. The pressure to join-in is difficult to overcome. Kids who don’t want to “practice their faith” out side of the family (where they probably don’t have a choice) should be able to see public school as a respite.

I know I certainly appreciated it.
