New Orleans, Louisiana 49.1 (“shall-issue” ccw)
St. Louis, Missouri 40.5 (“shall-issue” ccw)
Baltimore, Maryland 34.8 (“may-issue” ccw)
Detroit, Michigan 34.5 (“shall-issue” ccw)
Newark, New Jersey 32.1 (“may-issue” ccw)

Correlation/causation. That may or may not imply anything. Most of those murders are probably not committed by holders of CCWs. It also doesn’t prove that CCWs would have prevented those murders. Last murder I could find was probably some unregistered illegal handgun. Cabbie was shot in the neck from behind so if he had a CCW he couldn’t have done much.
