‘I’m gonna hang our president from a tree’: Secret Service arrests sex offender who ‘made racist death threat against Obama’

The Secret Service arrested a registered sex offender in Michigan after he allegedly made a racist death threat against President Barack Obama and threatened to blow up the FCC.

James Allen Myers, 37, called the offices of the National Geographic and the Federal Communications Commission and threatened the president because he was outraged by the ‘filthy sex and perversion’ that was allowed on television, according to federal charges filed against him on Thursday.

He allegedly called Obama a racial slur and said: ‘I’m gonna hang our… president from a tree outside the White House with a burning cross and a swastika on the lawn.’

Myers did not leave his name on the voice mail recording, but the Secret Service used the FCC’s caller ID to trace the phone calls - made December 9 and 10 from his home outside Detroit, the Detroit News reported.

Myers, who was convicted in 2001 of criminal sexual conduct, admitted to making the phone calls and said he was enraged over the sexual content he was on television.

When Secret Service agents showed up at the home Myers shares with his father, the elder Myers asked his son if he had ‘been making phone calls again.’
