Let’s get past the fact that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is so poorly named that it does a tremendous disservice to everyone involved. It should be the American Music Hall of Fame.

But diving into who the nominees are? I’m not familiar with T.Rex or MC5, and never listened to the Notorious BIG (but know who he was).

Kick out the jams, motherfucker! As the MC5 was wont to shout.
MC5 & T. Rex don’t get in*, I shall boycott the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

*Not saying they are the only deserving acts on that list
