Great article and it absolutely nails the problem on the head. It pisses me off when (well-meaning) people talk to my daughter as if she’s just in preparation to marry some lawyer and sit around looking pretty all day.

I read it just after squealing over how cute a little boy in a stroller was, and I realized I would have done the same to a little girl. Maybe it’s OK if they’re too young to walk yet.
