Having Franken face an ethics committee investigation would still be a more serious step than the GOP is prepared to take with Moore or Trump. Resignation should not be the only option, especially not when we get almost daily reminders of how hard we got ratfucked last year.

Again, there is the dichotomy between what is Morally Right and what is Politically Right, but the GOP have painted American politics into such a corner that they can do no political wrong, or at least suffer no consequences from it.
