Interesting, the guy being audited is selling a rubber stamp that says “tax cheat” which he suggests be used to overprint on the treasury sec. name on our paper currency.

A question on his web site, which he doesn’t seem to have an answer for is “isn’t it illegal to deface currency?”

The answer is no. It is only illegal if you are altering or defacing the currency for purposed of fraud. Stamping something on a piece of currency is not fraud.
