The only position the Nebraska Democratic Party has no candidate for is State Treasurer.

My wife has now launched a write-in campaign for the primary, which is May 15.

I’m sending an E-mail blast to everyone in the state I know… .

Although not the same situation — the Democratic Party in Illinois was supporting a write-in candidate for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation Board this March and he received the requisite number of votes to compete in November. The original candidate had died and it was too late for a substitute to qualify to be on the ballot. Hopefully your wife will be successful.
