as long as the right lets the loud and loony rabble be their face they are going to keep losing elections.

There’s not much we can do to prevent the left from painting us in that way. It’s not like the media is going to be even remotely honest. What we can do is not get overly defensive and kneejerk our way to the left in our haste to get away from a dishonest image.
