Well, I never thought of them as anything other or more than a sort of Westboro Baptist Church of the anti-war movement. I had - and continue to have - a bit of fun at their expense, but that’s about the extent of it.

I’d imagine it’s not too awfully difficult to get together a group of up to 1000 people for any cause, no matter how crazed or transparently goofy.

Especially if you let Rep. Bachmann count the crowd.
