It’s a Slate article that references the NYT article that specifically talks about the information not being used in court. However, the Slate article fails to cover this. I think at a bare journalistic minimum you should read any article you cite when writing an article. It then even compounds the error by saying that we’ll never learn what came out in the interrogation because it’ll be secret. If we never learn it, that means it’s not introduced as evidence, which means his Miranda protections have, actually, been upheld.
