Well, no. No peaceful resting for Prop 8. May it live in infamy as a shameful example of trying to legislate the rights of a minority.

Prop 8 joins Prop 187 and Prop 14 as reminders of the willingness of right-wing Californians to use the ballot box to unconstitutionally enact discrimination against other people as law. I hope that in the future Prop 8 will be as much of an embarrassment to this state’s history as the others are.
