If underage daughter’s boyfriend is the same age, and the sex was consensual, it’s not unreasonable for mom to focus on tending to daughter’s immediate needs and not give a crap about whether that means she’s “obstructing” prosecution of what may be a very nice boyfriend whose only sin was forgetting to wear a condom.
