And, once again, this is why we need a basic national income so that all adults have an income at least up to poverty level. The best way to push wages up is when employers have to compete for employees. Sending every working-age adult $1,000 in cash every month will not only goose demand, which will cause hiring to meet the need for extra goods and services, it will allow employees to walk away from crap jobs until employers make it attractive enough through higher pay and better working conditions and benefits to make working there worthwhile for people who are no longer desperate for any job they can get.

Marxist Fascist policies like this only hurt the people it’s purported to help.
