The NRA Reveals Who's to Blame for Ammo Shortage: You

A friend of mine told me he would go to the bass pro-ish shop (I am not sure which one he was really talking about) and there were never ever any bullets for sale. The reason was someone showed up every morning from 4:00 a.m. onward, from a group, and waited for the delivery to come, and then would buy every box immediately. This group single-handedly controlled the ammunition supply for the store, re-selling it online for 3x the price, according to my friend.

If I gave a ripe shit about it, I would say the gun community might want to , ahem, start policing itself or it’s just going to get uglier and more expensive, but then I think good. Anything to waste those idiots’ money. But, this is what it is all about, it’s a giant flaming bundle of anxiety and paranoia and it is feeding itself and eating itself. One day, I imagine people who are serious about it as a hobby (and not swaggering pissants with chips on their shoulders) will try to regain some kind of sanity and maybe pass a law limiting how much ammo you can hoard at once, but until then I guess it is super-expensive to play with explody toys. Not sure I give a damn.
