If she really felt the pain they were feeling and suffering, she wouldn’t have used their murdered son’s death photos to push an agenda. I am glad she backed off but she clearly doesn’t have any empathy for Foley’s family.

I imagine she only backed off because Foley’s death, as the recent casus belli for our invading Syria, means she’d bring too much negative publicity upon herself if she defied the family’s wishes or found herself subject to a lawsuit filed by them. Otherwise she probably would have flipped them off and kept the ads out there.
