I’m a bit annoyed at this, I have to take exception to Jeffrey Tayler’s article…even though I’m an atheist, I can’t be an “antitheist”.
I have no problem with people who believe in a religion, as long as their beliefs don’t interfere with the rights of others, why should I? And I do have experience with what Aslan calls antitheists, and almost every one of them believes that all religion is pure evil (though usually Islam gets an extra dose of hatred).
And…bizarrely, I seem to notice they are well represented in the worst parts of politics (gamergaters, MRAs, “race-realists”, Dark Enlightenment and on and on…).
So, if I had the choice between being under a government full of secularist christians…or being under anti-theists, I’d take the christians.
