Jimmy Carter visits planned Ark Encounter theme park in Kentucky

Former U.S. president Jimmy Carter on Friday visited Ark Encounter, an upcoming Williamston, Kentucky theme park inspired by the Biblical story of Noah and the flood.

Carter was reportedly invited to Ark Encounter by LeRoy Troyer, president of the construction company behind the Ark.

“They’re good friends,” said Answers in Genesis spokeswoman Melany Ethridge.
