I still love me some Rachel Maddow, but I’m 16 minutes into watching tonight’s show on the DVR, and I could summarize the entire 16 minutes in about 30 seconds:

Disabled rights advocates have been at this since the 1970s in Denver.

Disabled people and children are heavily dependent on Medicaid.

They protested in front of Mitch McConnell’s office today.

If someone created a “Rachel in half the time” podcast, I’d subscribe in a heartbeat.

I don’t necessarily rag on Dr. Maddow. She pulls in the facts of a matter she discusses for those of us who are unaware of the background on a story. For example, I was unaware of Denver advocates being at this since the Seventies so that is a new piece of information for me.

She must be doing something right since she’s on top of the cable ratings pile.
