I seriously think there are a lot of people on the right who would have preferred to have Hillary to beat up on for 8 years than deal with the shitstain that is Trump.

They’re only happy when they’re terrified or enraged. And Trump hasn’t given them permission yet to go out and kill their enemies, so they’re not getting the terror or rage they crave. But you see plenty of them trying to give the wingnuts the stimulation they need by inventing new threats (IOW, non-white people, people who aren’t Trumpers and/or Nazis, and random people who’ve somehow angered the horde) who they can fear or hate.
