Proof positive that these people are hateful, stupid & dishonest! Not just a racist, but stupid enough to make the remark in the first place & then dumb & dishonest enough to not just lie about it afterward, but try to blame the person she spoke to for reporting it.

Now, a lot of religiously conservative blacks have a fit when you link the fight for gay rights to their civil rights marches, but if this article doesn’t prove to them that they really are one & the same, then I have no idea how to show them.

One of the things I say to fellow African-Americans who support anti gay marriage amendments is that whether they like gays or not the same people who advocate for discriminating against gays, hate us too. They are the same people who spit on our parents and grandparents and still would if they could. They are the same people, they just have new targets. They never stop hating. Ever. And they still hate you too. Don’t sign up to be in league with the same people who made your parents and grandparents lives hell.

I don’t want anything to do with these bigots because I know who they are and what they would do to me if they could. Hopefully, this will be a wake up call.
