It’s the most annoying thing. Where were these people when the public option was being discussed as a possibility?

The crazy thing is, back in 2009, people were saying they wanted a public option:

December 2009 - 59% Yes to public option

July 2009 - 72% Yes to public option

There are more out there, but the public option polled consistently well in the public.

Even into 2010, after the law was on the books, people were saying that it didn’t go far enough…
