I am sorry, the Democrats kicked out the “civil-rights, anti-war, union organizing generation” a long time ago especially during the Clinton era. Democrats kicked out labor so Clinton can pass NAFTA, kicked down civil rights by Clinton staging a ‘sister souljah’ moment to appease racist whites (as if some obscure extremist rapper was the epitome of black civil rights ideas) and Clinton started several ‘humanitarian wars’ without congressional approval so there we have the Democrats kicking to the curb the anti-war crowd (including voting for Bush’s war in Iraq and beyond) .

So the fault is in the Democrats and what they became not in my views.
