Back from the shop owners house for T-day. Had a marvelous time, him and his wife, both their kids (19 and 25), his sons GF, Owners SIL and her girl friend, and a batch of random assorted dogs in all sizes and colors.

Great food, great conversation, great time. His SIL is an artisan woodworker, so we hit it off great. As he said “You know people are passionate about things when they have a 10 minute discussion on the pros and cons of various dust collection systems”. Watched Dallas get stomped on, ate too much pie (is there such a thing?).

It’s been the “Most Dressed Up” I’ve been since I quit teaching. Kakhi pants, boat shoes, green plaid Van Heusen shirt with a red turtleneck. (Work uniform is jeans / cargo pants, boots and polo or t-shirt. Shorts and sandals when warm)

Great time.
