re: #31 Brian J.
Steve Zimmer concedes defeat in the LA Unified School District race. Another Our Devolution success story for the Sandbaggers. And by success I mean massive failure.
“School board president Steve Zimmer conceded the race, telling a crowd of supporters that it was a “devastating loss.” He said he would not call his opponent, Nick Melvoin.”
Class acts, the lot of them.
Not sure this is necessarily a good thing, although neither candidate strikes me as particularly worthy.
Anybody familiar with the Charter situation in LA? Are they less of a shit show than in other areas of the country, meaning is the basic model something more than drain money and the best/lowest need students from the public schools while pocketing a chunk of cash for a the charter’s management company?
