About Gowdy: The first time I saw him was on an episode of a crime story on one of CNN’s local channels here in GA. He was a bigwig attorney in S.C. at the time. I remember thinking at the time that he looked like a slimy-*ss weasel. I saw him after he became a member of Congress, and he looked even slimier. If he gave up the chairmanship because he’s embarrassed about his underhanded shenanigans and hypocrisy, color me surprised. I never thought he ever had a conscience. I do hope he’s headed for retirement sooner rather than later. He’s a lying, hateful, wasteful, SOB.
