I fear that this is the reason Trump has dug in so hard on the policy now and is trying to blame Democrats. I feel like the backlash is enough that if he could soften or reverse it he would have, but something really fucking terrible has already happened behind the scenes that they’re desperately trying to cover up. This also might explain why they’ve been so reluctant to give access to the girls, because they’re afraid of what the girls will say.
