I don’t feel sorry for him, but that’s some needlessly aggressive policing. He was standing with hards visible, no clothes to have tucked a weapon into, the cop he was speaking with could have finished the conversation, then said “turn around and put your hands behind your back”, and arrested him. The flying leap to knock him down sideways on the asphalt, then 4 cops dog-piling… unnecessary.,

It did seem like unnecessary force. On the other hand, they did tell him to “get on the ground” several times and he ignored it.
