I have friends who own assault rifles, I’ve fired them (AR-15, AK-47, SKS). The reason they all bought them (and it’s the same man for man) is so they have them in case they’re made illegal again. That’s it. It’s an investment, they’re worth way more money on a black market. They never use them but once a year on camping trips.
