1) I don’t think AI is there for these issues yet, based on my own experience. You’d THINK that an AI would be able to figure out that four preceding zeroes should be dropped to get to the account number, but nope. And that’s just a usual thing. Computing power works SUPER when the transactions are all similar in format and there’s a bucket for rejects. Not so much for pictures or words…I mean, how are you going to deal with (for example) the “fourteen words” if people start getting imaginative.

2) I think FB isn’t weary of getting rid of racist and extremist content. FB knows it will lose a LOT of money if it bumps all these fascists and extremist adjacent people from its platform.

And why I was originally going to post…apparently another woman came forward on Friday to announce she was raped by Danny Masterson, who is facing trial on criminal charges he raped three other women around the same period.

Oh, and on top of the criminal case, there’s a civil case being bounced back and forth through the California courts, with the courts saying that the women have to go through Scientology’s “arbitration system” (which is a joke) to get at Masterson and Scientology for monetary damages. Even if they don’t believe in Scientology.

Which brings me to: Don’t sign anything a church gives you, just don’t, because this is what will happen if you get screwed. You will get screwed again.

How familiar are you with deep neural network models and the progress made in the past few years? Facebook is actually driving much of the cutting edge AI research with their PyTorch library; one of the few beneficial things they’re doing.
