Rep. Lou Barletta (R-PA), who was quoted on Monday as saying the following:

Then Phil Kent of the Georgia Immigration Review Board just went full dogwhistle by saying that immigration reform can’t happen until we keep Muslims from immigrating into the US.

This is the kind of insanity that President Obama is having to combat for

The former is the one that Rush invoked in Rubio’s presence, which should have earned a spit in his face rather than a “reasoned” response. The argument is “These are not conservative, hard-working individuals who want to come here, it’s the world’s refuse. They’re not natural Republicans and we shouldn’t let them in just to swell the Democrat ranks.”
