Return it certified mail. Enclose at least 3 written estimates. Ask for a response by such and such date. In WA insurance have 10 business days to respond, and they’ll use everyone to try get you to fold.

Since you’re time critical with a roof, I agree with MM lawyer up. Also check for any leak water damage caused by the delay and add that to the bill, included the time you have worked the problem.
