Mustaine is kind of a right wing guy, or at least he’s become that. According to an Amazon review, two of his favorite shows are Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly.

I always thought heavy metal — like punk — was about non-conformity. I can’t think of a bigger outlet screaming “CONFORM!” than Fox.

Not me. Most of the idiots in my high school were metalheads. Some of the most conformist, conservative dumbasses-in-training I’ve ever met in my life.
