I’m wondering if the blood on the hand is from a defensive wound (trying to fend off knife or metal bar) or if it’s from him holding a stab or other wound. In the latter photo with the blood on the pants and jockstrap it indicates that maybe he was trying to hold onto his pants with a bleeding hand, or perhaps that he has a stab wound down there. I am not certain.

if they cut his belt off, that, to me, would be the best explanation
