It was a blast. You would have one person call from, let’s say Abeline. They saw something in the sky, traveling west. Well, the next thing you know, you are getting calls from every little west Texas town from Abeline to the New mexico border.

You could track that UFO on a map.

And as each call came in, the UFO became bigger and better. “I saw it, it had 3 windows on it,” “I saw it too, but I saw some little creatures standing in the windows.”

By the time it crossed the texas/New Mexico border, it was a fleet of starships and they were picking up cattle right and left.

Live overnight radio, another world.

You ever notice how “UFOs” never go anywhere outside of the outback of the United States? They’re always going to West Texas or somewhere in New Mexico. They never seem to go to NYC or Los Angeles.

Now, if I were flying around in a UFO from some far off planet I’d be zipping around Chicago and scaring people just for the fun of it. Perhaps land in Central Park for a couple of minutes and create some fake fog with my alien super powers. Or maybe even call for a fleet of UFOs to make several runs across the world and at metropolitan locations.

Nah. Instead they’re all checking out the pasture.
