Oprah is successful but I’m really uncomfortable with raising the GOP and nation, Oprah after Trump. OI know that’s not fair to Oprah for the reasons you describe but damn I want someone who understands politics. Someone who has enough attention span to read a long paper about health care policy or international trade. That’s why I liked Obama and Clinton. And thy both surrounded themselves with capable people too. I don’t want Oprah to be just a figurehead.

I am not disagreeing. Actually, I agree with you 100%. The nation as a whole, however, does not.
