Exactly, what I’m trying to say is that the GOP of today is a rotten cesspool and it would still be that way if Rubio, Cruz, or Kasich were its standard bearer. Trump just knew how to capitalize on it the most.

He could electrify the rabid racist base while charming the Fundamentalist base at the same time in a way no other GOP candidate could, that is why there was never a serious Dump Trump movement in the GOP
