well, it’s probably not a virus, could be a mold allergy. during the colder weather, mold is prevalent. If it is not an allergy, a good thing to do in addition to any antibiotics your doctor gives you, is to clean all the common surfaces in your home with a bleach solution, if you haven’t already done so. sometimes (esp in very cold climates) bacteria can grow on walls and surfaces because its warm inside the home. bleach your toothbrushes, door handles, washer and dryer handles, fridge handles, coffee maker, everything you touch. even the car. just a small amount of bleach in a gallon of water should do it (i think instructions are on the back of the bleach bottle)
