In case anyone forgets, after so many years of communism, the Russian black market finally surfaced, and produced much of what became the Russian mafia. It was the Russian black market that kept that nation alive, but because it was so surpressed for so long, a lot of it was quite unsavory. If we destroy capitalism here in the states, it won’t disappear, but will become a huge underground industry. That is a real danger.

I’m not so sold on that. We have a much longer tradition of capitalism than Russia did, and we won’t be spending 70 years under Obamamunism. It may be more like Prohibition. Gangsters and the black market ruled the alcoholic beverage trade until it was repealed. After the repeal of Prohibition, the trade returned to the legitimate businesses, and the gangsters had to find something else or fall back on their traditional areas of expertise.
