I hadn’t heard of this injury until Saturday at the ER. If Wilson suffered from the same condition, I was pointing out that he might be talking on the phone and walking around. My son called me and was describing the accident 10 minutes after it occurred. Within about three hours, though, the left side of his face had swollen and he could barely see out of his eye.

I don’t know who the hell Hoft is. I shouldn’t have inserted myself and comments into this absolutely homogenous circle jerk.

What you DID insert yourself into was a conversation about Jim Hoft. His name is in the title of this article. There is a link to his blog in the article. His name is mentioned several times. Why? Because he made up a bogus story about an eye injury. You show up and defend the story. What are we supposed to think?

What you did NOT insert yourself into was a place so homogeneous that everyone is equipped to participate in a circle jerk, as I understand it.
