Culture from what century are we talking about?

This century. Things have improved. The patriarchy didn’t suddenly just goddamn vanish. There is still, in our culture, a very large expectation of men initiating sex, and women being commitment-oriented. This is shown in everything from advertisements to the plots of soap operas.

This is like feminism 101. I’m going to bed.
