Well I wasn’t even talking about Reagan specificallty there, I was talking about how the party went form having a lot of people like Rockefeller/Lindsay in your delegations for Congress or governors to people like Thurmond and Helms who made their name opposing Civil Rights and I know you love Ronald Reagan but he embraced those people. I want to know if Reagan wasn’t a bigot or a bigot enabler, why they saw him as an ally?

At a certain point, I don’t think you can use bigotry and encourage bigotry without being a bigot yourself, and if you REALLY AREN’T bigoted but still use and encourage it, you’re a sociopath.

So, Bigot? Sociopath? Which is worse?
