Matthews is nearly as ignorant as Tancredo.

This is what we’re up against. Surrounded by ignoramuses of all stripes. I feel like I’m suffocating on stupidity!

Matthews’ “acceptance” of evolution is just as non-fact-based as Tancredo’s rejection of it. Both have positions based entirely on political posturing, not on knowledge.

Matthews happens to be correct on this particular point, but that is only by accident. He has no more of a clue than Tancredo.
