damn, i was trying to remember COBRA name and couldn’t come up with it. I’d work for a couple thou less a year if it came with a cobra plan like my dad’s was. 80/20 with a 500.00 FAMILY deductible (and how fast was that family deductible used up with 8 kids?)

COBRA entitles you to stay on your employer’s health plan for up to 18 months but you have to pay the full price. As a matter of fact, you can pay up to 102% to your previous employer. The 2% is to cover their administration costs for collecting the money.
