Yes, she doesn’t have a complete understanding of what her computer specialists do or why they do it. That’s why you hire specialists in the first place.

Just to play devils advocate, as an IT consultant/network engineer I would never delete actual data without first checking with my client. I’ll make plenty of decisions that I know they don’t care about or want to know about, but deleting the wrong data can get you fired fast.
