I’m sure that’s not really an issue with heated garages and charging stations in the public parking garages, as Aspen and Vail have in abundance.
Also there’s a hell of a lot of charge in a model S or X. Even with a model 3 it’d have to be crazy cold to make it impractical as a commuter. I wouldn’t want to cross the Northern States or Canada in a Tesla in the winter if I was in a hurry but for most everyday use it’s gonna be more than enough.
