It is livable if somebody else (like your parents, that you live with) are paying all your expenses.

I make $11.5 which is a good deal more than minimum and i can only get by with energy assistance, a VA chapter 8 housing voucher and food pantries. I live by myself and pay child support. I have all of my high value possessions in the pawn shop.

Fuck anybody who says you can survive on minimum wage.
