re: #50 A hollow voice says, Guilty, guilty, guilty!

I’m old enough to remember when Repugs had a pretty strong foothold in California (it wasn’t that long ago).

Now they don’t hold a single statewide office, and Dems have supermajorities in both houses of the legislature. And we all know (sometimes to our dismay), as California goes, so goes the nation.

Indeed it wasn’t that long ago at all. Well within my lifetime of 50 years.
